Mentors must be current IECA members in good standing and committed to supporting their mentees’ growth.

• Complete the Mentor Match enrollment form so mentees can evaluate potential matches.
• Meet with mentees at least once per month.
• Lead the first discovery call using the Mentor Discovery Call Guidelines .
• Review topics provided in advance and come prepared with relevant resources or experiences.
• Attend scheduled calls punctually and provide advance notice if rescheduling is required.
• Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and a supportive, nurturing approach at all times.

• Complete the Mentor Match enrollment form to support effective matching.
• Initiate the relationship by inviting a mentor through Mentor Match.
• Drive the relationship by setting clear goals and taking responsibility for progress.
• Communicate with mentors at least once per month and schedule meetings proactively.
• Come prepared with questions and share discussion topics in advance whenever possible.
• Honor scheduled commitments and maintain professional, courteous communication.
